Throughout the years, Volkswagen have released seven generations of transporters following the first few steps of productions on 8th March 1950. With a hefty 70+ years gone by, the vehicle has transformed to become a reliable commercial van, passenger (kombi) van and – as it’s currently known for – a camper van. This is what makes the latest T7 version of the iconic vehicle a Multivan.

The Volkswagen Transporter T4 is an early 2000s model and although it is 20 years old, the vehicle is suitable for both the ProClip Right Mount which attaches to the right-hand side of your wheel, on the dashboard. A ProClip Centre Mount is also available for the T4 Transporter, for drivers that feel more comfortable having a holder in the centre part of their dashboard.
The Volkswagen Transporter T5 followed suit after the T4 in 2003 and has up to 13 models making it suitable for a ProClip Right mount that can be placed on the right-hand side of the dashboard, and one that can be positioned on the right post of the vehicle. The ProClip mounts are also available as an Angled Mount that will face you, and as a Centre mount.
The Volkswagen Transporter T6 is available from 2016 to 2020. A Brodit ProClip Right mount, Centre mount and Angled mount is available for the modern van. Another version of the Centre mount is also available however ONLY for Premium dashboard with a lid on the middle storage pocket.
The Volkswagen Transporter T6.1 is one of the latest models having been released in early 2022, you are able to get a Right-hand mount and an angled mount. Both making it easy and comfortable to install into your dashboard.
The Volkswagen Transporter T7 Multivan is the latest model in the transporter franchise and it is known to be a Multivan. Brodit ProClip Centre mounts are available for you to choose from. As well as a Right mount.
